DJ DOCTOR CHRIS started DJing in 1988, teamed up 1996 with FUTURE ROCK on the boards and PROFESSOR TE on the mic and founded the group CREME DE LA CREME. The EP was released in 1997 & the album "PORNO FUNK" was released in 1998. 1998 he teamed up with the breaker/rapper/singer/producer AKANNI from NYC and they founded the group "STAR-EYE" in 1999. The live-band-based album "SOULMELODICS" was finished and came along in 2001. AKANNI & DJ DOCTOR CHRIS went back to basics and rocked the stages with 2 Turntables & a Mic like they started back in 1998. After 2 more singles, the 2 work in the lab on their 2nd album right now. On the Road with Jungle Brothers, Sekou, Daddy Rings, Aphrodelics, Seeed, Looptroop, Xzibit, RasKass, CL Smooth, Lord Jazz and many more... In September 2011 US Eastcoast Tour with Akua Naru and the DigFloBand
